Rochdale Borough School Games Partnership is pleased to offer our partner schools free entry to a wide range of competitions and festivals throughout the academic year 2017 to 2018. Non-member schools can enter at a charge of £50 per event.(This will be invoiced to the school).
There are events from Years 1 to 6 in a range of activities and a number of competitions that are appropriate for SEND, (special educational needs and disabilities), children. There is a mixture of qualifying and participation events and competitions.
To register your interest in an event please complete the ‘expression of interest form’ and email back to either firstname.lastname@example.org. Further details will be sent out to the schools who express an interest in a particular event. Please note that some events are qualifiers for county or other events. If you are unable or not wanting to go forward to represent the borough please let us know before the event or as soon as possible.
Please check the website for any changes to date, venue, times or rules as details can be subject to change for a number for reasons outside of our control.
Please check eligibility carefully with regard to numbers, gender and ages of team members as we endeavour to adhere to the qualifying rules to produce eligible teams. If you cannot meet the eligibility this does not preclude you for entering and taking part, but may stop you from being able to progress in the competition.
Schools that are registered with ‘your school games’ should update their profile when you have played at a competition as this provides evidence for your school if you wish to apply for the school games kite ‘mark’.
Most qualifying events are our Level 2 school games events that feed directly into the Level 3 County – Greater Manchester Games of which there is a Winter and Summer Final held in Manchester. Other qualifiers feed into the National Governing Body branded events, where Rochdale can have a representative.
